Even in Darkness
My very first big painting. I made it in high school, with the original title “Enlightenment of Being”. It was the last piece of a series of artworks that encompassed the different stages of awakening. This painting had no planning involved. The only thing I knew was there would be black background, and from there, bright colours, and something otherworldly would appear. I wanted to completely go with the flow of creation, observing what consciousness would appear in front of me, out of the darkness. Once the shape of this lively plant began to take form, I started to see it almost as it’s own entity. Like at some point it would speak back to me. Upon later observation, it strongly felt to me, like a representation of an idea emerging from the unconscious. The contrast between the bright vegetation and the black background representing the spread of light from a simple idea, even in the darkest mind.

Dragonfly 33
In Numerology, the number 33 is one of divine guidance and action from a place of compassion. This piece was made during a pivotal time in my personal journey, revelations and connection to purpose. I traced these symbols as they appeared to me on the canvas. It felt like an encoded message, that could be read and understood by the subconscious mind. With the help of symbols, 33 and the green Dragonfly. Even though she has spread her wings and soars through the ether, she still finds herself rooted and grounded in truth. One can sometimes get lost in the abstract, the spiritual. Humans often feel a desire to neglect the physical, escaping the uncomfortable. I have often found myself getting caught up in my own spiritual abstract. This piece, to me, highlights the importance of finding a balance, making sure we are still living the physical we chose to learn from.

Cosmic Egg
Within the Cosmic Egg lies the entirety of existence, a sacred vessel where every number from one to nine is cradled within the all-encompassing zero. This symbolic form speaks to the unity of all things. Before separation, before division, everything was once whole, contained in a single point of origin. The Cosmic Egg is an ancient myth found across many cultures, a primal symbol of creation, potential, and the birth of the universe itself.
While I often channel my paintings intuitively, this piece emerged from a deep fascination with the Cosmic Egg as a universal archetype. I first encountered this symbol in The Woman’s Dictionary of Symbols and Sacred Objects by Barbara G. Walker, where it was described as a myth found across many cultures. From the Orphic Egg of Greek tradition to the world-egg in Hindu and Egyptian cosmology, this ancient motif has long been associated with creation, potential, and the birth of existence itself. This work seeks to capture this universal energy—a moment of totality, where all that was and all that will be remains suspended in a state of infinite potential.

The Hanged Man
Suspended in time, The Hanged Man embodies the power of surrender, stillness, and deep introspection. Whether chosen or unforeseen, this pause invites reflection, realignment, and a shift in perspective. As the 12th card in the tarot, The Hanged Man is deeply connected to Neptune, the planet of dreams, intuition, and boundless imagination. It is also connected to the sign of Pisces, known for its spiritual depth. The figure’s inverted posture mirrors the alchemical symbol for sulfur, a celestial element representing transformation and the potential for profound change.
Drawn to this card intuitively, I felt compelled to recreate it through my own artistic lens, using only natural elements and astrological symbols. As I immersed myself in the creative process, I found myself meditating on its energy, uncovering personal revelations along the way. It became an act of healing. This piece is a quiet reminder that stillness is not stagnation but a space for growth, clarity, and renewal.

Floating Lotus
As a common theme in my work, the Floating Lotus explores the concept of an interdimensional reality, where boundaries between physical, spiritual, and metaphysical dimensions merge and dissolve. The Floating Lotus, suspended in space, symbolizes an entity that transcends traditional planes of existence. It is neither of this world nor apart from it, inviting contemplation of what lies between and beyond the seen and known.
The Sun, a recurrent symbol in my paintings, acts as a bridge between these dimensions. A portal of light, breathing life into the lotus, anchoring to a universal source of energy while allowing it to exist independently of the constraints of any single plane. The lotus is not rooted in any physical source, any ‘logical’ explanation of it’s source or evolution. It simply ‘is’.
